The short of it is that Windows for ARM promises to offer the same out of the box experience as the x86 edition of Windows 8.

A couple of months after making its long ( really long ) awaited appearance in ” select markets ” the DirecTiVo is now officially available nationwide. Die-hard fans of the combo of peanut remote and satellite TV finally have a crack at the box for the same $199 up front price tag, plus attached service fee, HD access fee and DVR fee. This also means foregoing things like 3D, multiroom support, Premiere UI and live streaming iPad apps , but that’s part of the deal for the TiVo HD DVR from DirecTV .

Those two cities will bring the total number of Sprint LTE markets to six, as they join the previously announced Houston, Dallas, San Antonio and Atlanta. The carrier and CEO Dan Hesse refused to be any more specific about a launch date on today’s earnings call, though, we can tell you the service should be launching alongside the Galaxy Nexus , LG Viper and a Sierra Wireless mobile hotspot capable of connecting via CDMA, WiMAX and LTE.
