With the eXtroTips Plugin you can create pure CSS3 Tooltips. Conventional tooltips systems are based on a combination of JavaScript and HTML. This has the disadvantage that a visitor without JavaScript enabled will not see the tooltip or an error is thrown

Rdio Android app gets a refresh, adds ICS support and new design

Tune streaming service Rdio has just given its Android application a major makeover. Not only will the app experience the Ice Cream Sandwich treatment for the first time (happy, GNex owners?), but it’s also gotten a new look that’s easier on the eyes. Furthermore, Rdio added the ability to view user profiles, and also enhanced the app’s search capabilities

Boxee desktop app being removed from servers tonight, get it while you can

We knew that the Boxee desktop app’s days were numbered , we just didn’t realize how numbered. It was only the day after Christmas that we learned version 1.5 would be the last to ship for Linux, Windows and OS X. Now, with January coming to a close, its life is officially being snuffed out
