Must See HDTV (February 6th – 12th)

The Super bowl is over, the ads have aired, and now we’re trying to fill a football-sized hole in our TV schedules. Luckily there’s a few new shows airing that may help us get through the winter, unless of course we get more Glee clones that push us outdoors into the harsh, unforgiving elements. Look below for the highlights this week, followed after the break by our weekly listing of what to look out for in TV, Blu-ray and videogames.

Chegg’s online textbooks hope to captivate minds, market share (video)

Someone’s about to get schooled, and if it’s not the youth of America, then it’ll be one of the companies rushing to release educational products this week. While Kno takes the interactive approach , and Apple typically keeps us guessing , Chegg hopes its new online reader will capture students’ imaginations. The HTML5, cloud-based platform clearly thinks it’s portability the kids want, working on almost any connected device

After a CES related hiatus, we’re back, and just in time for the premieres of a few of our favorite shows. Since we’ve been busy watching demo reels instead of what’s on, feel free to let us know if we missed anything important during our Las Vegas trip (is anyone watching The Firm ? Is it good?)Look below for the highlights this week, followed after the break by our weekly listing of what to look out for in TV, Blu-ray and videogames.

The Best of CES: Day 0

CES didn’t officially kick off until today, but by the end of the day yesterday, we’d see so many amazing giant TVs and little-giant phones and little-little ultrabooks that our eyes are ready to explode. With joy.

Hacked Gadgets gets another cold call from Scammers called Global IT and Global PC Protection – Part 3

You think these scammers from Global PC Protection (they often call themselves Global IT) would have me on their do not call list after the fun we had with them in Part 1 and part 2 . I figured that would be the last we ever heard of them. Well to my surprise I got another cold call from one of their agents warning me that my computer has once again been sending them errors and warnings
