Accused Rapist Trolls Police On Facebook

This is Dustin McCombs. The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, in Alabama, is accusing him of being a “rapist by force.” They posted his mugshot on their Facebook page’s Creep of the Week page. When Dustin McCombs learned about it , he was naturally pissed off, so he did what comes most naturally on the internet

RIM welcomes Office 365 users into the fold with BlackBerry Business Cloud Services

For wary Office 365 enterprises who’ve been reluctant to dip their toes into the beta pond, today will certainly be memorable in the IT room: Research in Motion has gone ahead and blessed BlackBerry Business Cloud Services as ready for prime time. The software, which has been in beta stage since October , allows BlackBerry users to easily integrate with their firm’s Office 365 deployment. Users can expect synchronization with their Exchange email, contacts and calendars, along with the ability to remotely wipe or lock their data should the device go missing.

Sony Muteki RDH-GTK33iP shelf system ears-on (video)

In many respects, it could be considered a boombox. But if the Sony Muteki RDH-GTK33iP shelf system can’t easily be hoisted above our heads in an attempt to win the heart of the girl we love, we simply can’t bring ourselves to actually call it that

Gadgetwise: Giving Windows on an iPad a Boost

The iPad seems to be doing pretty well among business customers already. There could be even more of them, though, who would buy iPads if software like Microsoft Office and Windows would run well on the devices.

HBO to Netflix: you’ll need to buy our DVDs elsewhere, pal

Netflix has made no bones about the fact that it’s competing (hard) with HBO, and it seems that the sentiment is the same on the other side. According to CNET , HBO has stopped providing Netflix with DVDs of its shows. Of course, the freedom to purchase from other legitimate resellers has enabled Netflix to keep the discs flying, but it’s no longer able to source ‘em directly from the Box Office’s warehouse.

HP outs Compaq L2311c docking monitor, LV1911 and LV2011 budget displays

The last time HP unveiled a monitor it was chasing gamers looking for a little 3D on a budget, but this time around, it’s got business users on the brain. Specifically, the kind of workers who spend a lot of time away from the office, or perhaps share a workspace with others. That’s the idea behind the 23-inch Compaq L2311c Notebook Docking Monitor, which connects to laptops via USB
