HP TouchPad to be available June 22nd, starting at $500 for 16GB?

We’ve learned to take possible TouchPad release dates with a grain of salt at this point , but enterprise vendor Synnex has now provided yet another possible one, as well some additional confirmation of earlier leaks. According to a pair of listings on its website, the HP TouchPad (curiously also sporting the Pavilion moniker here) is estimated to be available on June 22nd in both 16GB and 32GB capacities for $499.99 and $599.99, respectively (the latter of which matches the price already spotted at Walmart ). For those looking to accessorize, an HP-branded TouchPad case is also listed.

Star Wars Blu-ray discs to arrive September 27th according to Amazon

Even a flashy CES announce event wasn’t enough for Fox and George Lucas to reveal an exact release date for the arrival of Star Wars on Blu-ray, but now Amazon has updated its preorder ship dates to September 27th. We wouldn’t schedule a day off of work to dive into the promised 30 hours of special features until there’s some sort of official word, but since it is a Tuesday it seems a logical time to expect these discs (in full Complete Saga form or either trilogy set by itself, you choice) to touch down

Eizo rolls out 17-inch FlexScan T1751 multitouch monitor

Eizo may not be aiming this one directly at average consumers, but there’s nothing stopping you from picking up its new 17-inch FlexScan T1751 monitor to make your industrial-style mutlitouch dreams come true. As you can sort of see above, this one can either be used upright or titled nearly flat, and it packs a non-widescreen, 5:4 aspect ratio — albeit with a slightly disappointing 1,280 x 1,024 resolution. The monitor will work with a touch pen and gloved hands, however, and you’ll get a decent 178 degree viewing angle, along with a 1,500:1 contrast ratio, a pair of built-in 0.5W speakers, a headphone jack and, true to its industrial nature, a non-scratch surface made of reinforced glass

Viewsonic rolls out 24-inch V3D241wm-LED monitor with 3D glasses

We’ve yet to see the full wrath of Viewsonic’s ambitious 3D plans , but the company has at least now rolled out one new device: the 24-inch V3D241wm-LED 3D monitor. That naturally comes complete with a pair of (active) 3D glasses, and Viewsonic insists that the monitor’s 120Hz frame rate and 2ms response time make it ideal for both gaming and movies. You’ll also get a pair of built-in two watt speakers, 300 nits of brightness, a supposed 20,000,000:1 contrast ratio, and the usual Eco mode to cut down on power consumption
