WealthTV 3D joining handful of 3D networks

The network we love to hate has made it a long way in the four years since we promised to never cover it again because of its ridiculous claims . Not only is it still on the air, but Herring Broadcasting has announced it will be adding a linear 3D channel to the existing handful of 3D channels that includes ESPN 3D , n3D and 3net . No word on any broadcaster carriage agreements, yet, but WealthTV 3D has spent two years producing original 3D content in anticipation of the launch and viewers can currently tune in online via Roku boxes.

Room for Debate: An Alternative to SOPA

What’s the best way to protect against online piracy? Is there a better alternative to these two bills? A debate on the Opinion pages of the Times.

Ubuntu’s Precise Pangolin to pull less power than predecessors

We won’t be seeing the finished version of Ubuntu’s next release for a few months, but the folks at Canonical are hard at work making Precise Pangolin the very best it can be. Version 12.04 is an LTS release , meaning only refinements are in store for the OS, but apparently one of the areas targeted for improvement is power consumption

You can then apply an XPath to that page, to grab various parts of it, such as one particular value, or all of the hyperlinks
