Sprint shone some light on the latest mystery handset from LG earlier today — and what a bright light it is indeed. The Marquee’s four-inch NOVA display is one of the brightest on the market — it’s a sort “we can’t technically say it’s the brightest, but it’s certainly up there” situation. Screen aside, this is a slick and skinny Gingerbread handset.

Kensington already came out and admitted that employees don’t actually use the locks handed to them on their first day of work. And yet, it’s betting folks will want to swaddle their iPads in a thick layer of plastic and chain them to their desks. That, in a nutshell, is the idea behind the SecureBack, an iPad 2 case that allows you lock down the tablet, armor and all, just as you would a laptop.

There was much rejoicing Stateside upon Tuesday’s unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy S II , but it’s Canadian fans that are getting the party favors ready. A reservation page for the Galaxy S II LTE — essentially the device we’ve grown to admire, but with an added 4G turbo boost — is now up and running on Rogers’ site. As a disclaimer, the only way to get one put on hold with your name on it is to fork over a $40 refundable deposit.
